The Baltic Yacht Week will be held on August, 13-19 in Saint Petersburg.

The Baltic Yacht Week is one of the biggest events in the field of sailing sport in Russia. This time the event is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the world's first yacht club Nevsky Fleet, which was founded by Peter the Great in Saint Petersburg in 1718.

In the program there will be: sailing regattas with participation of world-class sportsmen, performances and master classes, exhibitions, open days in yacht clubs and museums, business conferences and presentations.

In addition, the citizens and guests of the city will have a unique opportunity to board big yachts. Two sailboats will be moored in the open gangway in the Neva water area on the Hare Island: “Hope”, 36 meters long, and “Lady L”, 23 meters long.

On Saturday a festive aqua and light show "Ballet of sails" will take place in the water area between Palace, Birzhevoy and Troitsky bridges, which will end with colorful fireworks.
